Description

The Gothic Revival styled dwelling was custom built in 1867 for William Graham who was a prominent area resident. The house was later owned by William’s son-in-law Robert Robinson. Hence it has been coined as the Graham Robinson house. In 2016, the Graham Robinson house was relocated from Highway 50 to Morra Ave. where it serves as a community landmark at the entrance to the Bolton Gateway subdivision.

The Graham Robinson House is a custom built 2 storey, single detached solid brick residence clad in dichromatic brick with a gable roof; a centre gable; a one storey tail wing and an oversized garage. It has 4 fireplaces with 2 continuing to be operable and upgraded to gas fireplace inserts. The house boasts originally restored 5 inch spruce plank flooring as well as originally restored windows, baseboards and the main floor staircase.

The house is 2800 sq.ft. in size when including the main and 2nd floors and over 4400 sq.ft. when including the lower level. The house has been completely renovated internally with custom finishes and other desirable features to make it a spectacular urban farmhouse.
